WikMail Stationery Tutorial
Parrots Tutorial

This Tutorial includes 3 Pics of Australian Parrots. Eastern Rosella on the left side, King Parrots on the top and Crimson Rosella in the message area. To download these 3 images just right click on each and 'save as' to your computer. Normally you would save images to your C drive My Documents/My Pictures however you might like to create a folder called 'Stationery Images' so that you can easily locate those that are particularly for use in making stationery. Wasting no time, we will start on the Parrots Tutorial.
Beginning the Parrots StationeryTutorial
Open Stationery Creator - Menu /Tools/Stationery Creator. See below.

In Stationery Creator Click on Sections/General.

Stationery Name
I have called this stationery "parrots" however you can call it whatever you wish.
Scrollbars Colors
If you like the scroll colors I have chosen then just copy the numbers straight into the four areas However, you do not have to use these colors and can play around with the colors until you find something you prefer.Margins
Copy the Margins settings as follows 50 20 100 50. If you do feel they are to your liking by all means try some other settings.
Background color
Copy the color number shown into the box in your stationery creator. Select 'Top Center' in the Background Alignment.
Message Area

Click on 'Sections' and select Message Area. Click 'Browse' and locate the pic of the single Crimson Parrot, parrotmsgarea1.jpg and open it. In the alignment box select Bottom Right.
The backgrond color for the message area is white the same as the backgound on the parrot pic. In the Message Border (play with the styles yourself) area put 8 in the width box, and select 'double' in the style box. I chose a maroon looking color but use the number code #912A29 for the double Style color box. Reduce the message transparancy to 80 or play with the settings for the transparancy you prefer.
In the Message text margins, I selected 50 50 20 180, you might like to play with the settings here. The 180 setting for the right is to ensure type does not go across the graphic. In the "Use Stationery Font area" I selected Verdana size 10 and a Maroon color again #800000 (I also clicked on the Bold button.) This is how your stationery should look so far.
Left side

Click on 'Selections' and select 'Left Side'. Make sure the 'Use Left Side' box is checked. In the Width box type 100. Make sure the 'Use image as background' is checked.
Now for the side pic. Click on Browse, go to where you have the pic 'parrots_side.jpg' stored on your computer and open it. In the Alignment box select 'Top Center'. For the background I used the same color as the Double style lines arround the message area, so click on the dropper tool and use it to click on the maroon line. This will make your left side background the same as the message area border.
Top Center
We now want to place a pic at center of the top section. This is an important thing to remember: In order to be able to use a top section you must first go to 'Top Side Main', ensure 'Use Top Section' is checked and select a size I have selected 165.
Now click on 'Sections' and select 'Top Center'. Ensure you have 'Use Top Center' checked. Also make sure 'Use as background image' is checked (otherwise it will not go in the center). Click on browse and go to your computer where you have the pic pair_parrots.jpg filed and open it. In Background alignment select Top Center'. That is all there is in making the stationery. I hope it was not too long winded. Now you must Save the stationery to be able to use it in your emails.
Save the Stationery
Go to the top, left of the stationery creator and click on File/'Save As'. I saved mine to a Birds folder so just click on the folder you want to save to and then clik on Save Stationery As aty the bottom of the pop-up. If you want to save the stationery as an .exe file click on 'File' again. select 'Export to Zip .exe File'. Select the folder you have saved this stationery to and the name of the stationery which will be listed there. Uncheck ZIP and check EXE and click on Execute. The .exe file will be stored in your WikMail Program, Zipped Stationery. You do not have to make an .exe file. The reason for making it is so it can be posted on a website or be sent to someone.
Was it hard or easy - was it easy to follow?
I hope you enjoyed doing this Tutorial. Again I have tried to include sections that have not been used in previous tutorials in order that you can get practice in using the many features of this WikMail Stationery Creator. If you have any comments, problems or would like to suggest something for inclusion in these tuts, just contact us at support@wikmail-world.com. Your comments would be most welcome , good or bad!! Oh, and I would know if anyone is really bothering to try them.
