If you collect a lot of fonts and load them into the fonts folder in Windows then you will be helping to make your system run more sluggishly. However, download this clever little Fonts Manager (A FREE Utility from WikMail) and you don't need to have them in your windows fonts folder.
Using The New Fonts Folder.
Simply create a new folder on your Hard Drive called "Fonts" and download all fonts you collect into this folder. Now open the Fonts Manager. If you simply want to use your system fonts and any you have added click on the System Fonts tab and they will be listed in the left column.
To use the fonts you have downloaded to your new Fonts Folder just click the tab "Browse Directories" and use the Font manager to locate your Fonts folder. The Font Manager will load your fonts and display a list on the left side of the manager. Now simply minimize your Fonts Manager and open ( for instance)Paint Shop Pro or any other program using fonts and your full collection of fonts will be listed for you to use.
