WikMail Stationery Tutorial

Christmas

wikmail-worldThis Christmas tutorial may be a little more involved than the Butterfly tutorial. There are more sections of the Stationery Creator used so it will provide more practice overall. Download the four pics. All the graphics were prepared in Paint Shop Pro (PSP).

Christmas Tree Girl to your computer. File them so you can easily find them again. The pics are 'Merry Christmas Everyone', The little girl, the man and the lady. Just right click on each one and 'save as'.

Select 'Bottom Center' in the Alignment box. In the Message Border area put 5 in the width box, and select 'dotted' in the style box.

Now go to the top where it says Background color. Click on the little dropper icon and use it to click on the green background of the little girl pic. The text area of the stationery should now be green. In the Message text margins, I selected 50 50 170 50, you might like to play with the settings here. In the Use Stationery Font area I selected Verdana size 10 and a color of white I also clicked on the Bold button. This is how your stationery should look.

Name and Save Stationery

At the top left select a name for your stationery(if you have not already done so). Click on 'File' and 'Save As'.If you do not have a Christmas Folder then right click in a clear section and choose 'Create a new directory'. Name it Christmas. Now click on the Christmas folder and it will appear on the save stationery pop up - click 'save stationery as'. It will be saved to your WikMail program and can be viewed in the send mail.

Create .exe File

Click on 'File' again. select 'Export to Zip .exe File'. Select Christmas and the name of the stationery which will be listed there. Uncheck ZIP and check EXE and click on Execute. The .exe file will be stored in your WikMail Program, Zipped Stationery. You do not have to make an .exe file. The reason for making it is so it can be posted on a website or be sent to someone.
